We aspire to offer women, artists, and authors around the world the opportunity to express their creativity, share their work, or explore feminist struggles.
Our collaborative system
éditions pépé is based in Valencia, Spain, and run by Pénélope Delaur who acts as a publisher, a creative director, and a graphic designer. We are an independent and committed publishing house, and therefore renounce participation of the traditionally capitalist model which forces artists to alter their work for commercial purposes, and overrules their input during the editorial process. Likewise, we refuse to compensate them by a small percentage of the retail price of their book, thus contributing towards their financial vulnerability. Conversely, we provide a collaborative system which advocates a fair division of ideas, costs, and revenues between the publisher and all collaborators.
éditions pépé is constantly on the lookout for new projects and people to work with. We are currently looking for:
-
A music composer to create a jingle for our column readings
-
Feminist writers or specialists wishing to publish a column
-
Women artists wishing to publish a book
- Allied artists or writers wishing to publish a pro-feminist book or column
